For the launch of Diadermine’s Smart Defense Lift+ Series, we conducted a real social experiment, challenging our target audience (women 20-45 years old) with true facts and statistics about the blue light cause of aging. To that end, we created a custom microsite, where, using a questionary based on real surveys, we gave our audience the chance to find out the overall time they spend in front of screens every day. Our online audience was driven to the microsite with tailor-made messages that recognized each user’s device and adjusted accordingly. Through personalised social media content, targeted ads, banners, bumper videos, magazine entries and clever radio spots, we managed to accomplish our goal. Along with the notable numbers that indicate the campaign’s success, it is very significant that our activation achieved to cause concern and make viewers stop scrolling and rethink their everyday screen time.
